With the tremendous amount of interest in the horse industry there are more than 250 horse owners in Caswell County. A local Caswell County Horsemen's Association has been established with monthly educational meetings presented to local horse owners. Also, a Caswell County "Mount, Search, and Rescue Unit" is being developed by the Extension Service and the Association to work in conjunction with the County Animal Reponse Team and Sheriff's Department.
