Home & Family The foundation of our society is the family. Many of Extension's programs provide families with research-based answers to their day-to-day challenges. Extension is ready with answers on controlling household insects, protecting well-water, managing a family budget, helping families improve their eating habits, or dealing with the special concerns related to early childhood, parenting, or aging. The overall goal of Family and Consumer Science programs in Caswell County is to put researched based knowledge to work in order to strengthen and sustain, as well as enhance, the lives of people and families in the communities in which we serve, work, and live.
