Through 4-H, more than 187,000 young people in North Carolina learn new skills and serve their communities each year. 4-H offers clubs, special interest programs, summer camps, school enrichment and after-school child care. Guided by North Carolina Cooperative Extension educators and adult and teen volunteers, 4-H'ers gain knowledge, skills and experience that help them become responsible citizens and leaders.

The goal of 4-H in Caswell County is to assist youth and adults in becoming competent, and contributing members of a global society, developing essential life skills through planned "learn by doing" experiences. Caswell County youth gain life skills through our livestock shows which include budgeting money, animal nutrition, agricultural business and much more. Our 4-H clubs involve youth in public speaking activities, record keeping, teamwork, community service and learning through hands on activities. Summer Fun gives youth an opportunity to make new friends, travel, and experience new people and places. Caswell County 4-H strives hard "to make the best better" for the future of our county.
