The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service in conjunction with the Caswell County Cattlemen’s Association will conduct an educational meeting on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the Agriculture Building in the Extension Kitchen at 6:30 p.m.

Mr. Bryan Blinson, Executive Director for the North Carolina Cattlemen’s Association, will present an educational program entitled, “Update on the new import and export tariffs and how it will affect the cattle industry”. Also, Bryan will give an update on things that are happening with the state association as well as the 2018 North Carolina Cattle Industry Assessment Referendum which cattle producers will vote on October 4, 2018, at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Caswell County Center.

This is the fifth Cattlemen’s Meeting for the year. We will be serving a steak supper meal; therefore, you will need to call our office at 336-694-4158 by 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 20, 2018, so we can better prepare for the meal.
