The 2024 Forsyth County Urban Farm School starts up in March- APPLY NOW!

About the Program:

Forsyth County Urban Farm School is an intensive 12 week class for individuals motivated to start a business growing and selling produce.

This course is an opportunity for adult students to learn about creating and running a small market garden or urban farm. By planting, growing, harvesting and selling a season’s crop, students can expect to gain experience with practical methods of farming with an eye for economic empowerment to benefit their families and their community.

2024 Class Schedule:

The 2024 Urban Farm School will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays in March through June on the following 24 dates from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. plus a graduation date TBD:

March 13, 15, 20, 22, & 27; April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, & 26 May 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31; and June 5 (shown in the image below). An additional date will be scheduled for a Class Graduation.

If any dates or times must change, enrolled students will be notified in advance.
