With the New Year off to a great start, I want to give you an update on the 2026 spring plans for livestock and poultry! It is shaping up to be a busy year, and we would love to see you at our events!

January 16th: Caswell Cattlemen’s High School Senior Scholarship Opens
February 1st: 4-H Feather Classic Chick Registration Opens
February 20th: Joint Cattlemen’s Meeting with Rockingham at Locust Hill Cattle
February 19th: NC Forage & Grasslands Council Meeting in Hickory
February 28th: All Youth showing livestock must be entered into 4-H Online
February 28th: 4-H Feather Classic Registration Closes & PCYLA Show Registration Deadline
March 15th: CPJL Show Registration closes
March 17th & 18th: Emergency Livestock handling training
March 19th: Caswell Cattlemen’s Meeting- Disaster Prep
March 27th: Caswell Cattlemen’s Scholarship Due
April 7th & 8th: Central Piedmont Junior Livestock Show in Orange County
April 10th: Cattlemen’s Scholarship Winner Announced
April 16th: Caswell Cattlemen’s Meeting
