The cool weather is giving sweater weather vibes! We know what comes with sweater weather, the holidays! The smell of fresh pine will be filling the air when you pick up your holiday greenery and wreaths from the Caswell 4-H annual fundraiser. The fundraiser offers local residents a festive way to support the 4-H youth development programs. The popular sale features an array of holiday décor, including fresh, hand-crafted wreaths, garlands, and specialty items sourced directly from North Carolina's mountains. Where can you get a wonderful piece of décor for the same price as last year.
Funds raised from the sale will directly benefit local 4-H activities, provide supplies for hands-on projects, and help cover expenses for educational camps. These programs empower young people in areas ranging from agriculture and STEM to healthy living and civic engagement.
"Every piece of greenery sold directly helps a child in our community access valuable skills and opportunities they wouldn't have otherwise," said Brandi Boaz, Caswell 4-H Agent. "It's a win-win—you get beautiful, NC-grown décor and you invest in the next generation of local leaders."
Orders are being collected through Friday, October 30th. With pick-up in time for Thanksgiving scheduled for Tuesday, November 24th. Two holidays for one price what a deal! Residents can view product options and place an order by contacting the Extension office at 336-694-4158 or visiting our Caswell 4-H Facebook page or just stopping by the office at 126 Court Square. Support your local 4-H and bring home a piece of the North Carolina mountains this holiday season.
