Ag Chat from 7/8/26: 4-H Fall Program to Sign Up for Now

Well, Summer is in full swing and we at the 4-H office are as busy as honeybees! We are just getting started with our summer programs
but are already thinking about what to do after school starts! We have a few options your kids ages 5-18 can register for today!
The 4-H Egg Contest is available to youth ages 5-18 who own laying hens. Chicken eggs can be any color/size. This is an awesome way to learn more about egg production and your layers! We do have some important dates. We
will have an in person workshop on September 8th! Registration Deadline July 29th. You can register by clicking here!
We also have two photography contests to enter! The NC 4-H State Photo Contest is an great way to get your photos out to compete at the state

contest will be displayed at the 2026 Brightleaf Hoedown. Find out more information here!
We have another great opportunity for youth at the Brightleaf Hoedown. The Caswell County 4-H Pop Up Shop, September 19th! This Kid-
made, kid sold event will give youth a venue to showcase their wares, feel empowered, and get an idea of what it's like to be involved in
